Many new affiliates wonder what the hell is "conversion rate"?
Well, guess what? -
you live or die from conversion rates.
That is of course
ASSUMING you have some traffic to your webpage(s) in the first place. Conversion rate is the % amount of web users that visit your web page and do a specific action vs. all the web users that do not. Let's say 100 web users visit your page and 3 of them sign up for an offer - that is GREAT! - that is 3% conversion rate and that will make you VERY RICH.
You can calculate conversion rates from the web traffic you have. Almost all affiliate "tracking" software does this automatically - assuming you have traffic to your web page(s) in the first place.
Now ASSUME means it makes an "Ass" out of "U" and "Me".
PLEASE do yourself a favor and realize without traffic to your webpage(S) or response to your CAN-SPAM compliant email campaign (see my next post for up-to-date information on that) that IF you don't have any traffic to your webpage(s) that you will not earn anything at all from joining affiliate programs.
DO NOT DESPAIR!
We have an affiliate that made a few dollars per month and used our recommended techniques to build his business to MANY Thousands of net income to him PER MONTH - but beware it took him a full year to do this and lots of hard work; however he will NEVER now go back to his "day" job" that paid him less per year than he now makes in two months. But if you deal in reality, you will realize immediately that making a good income on the web takes skill and dedication.
