Advice about UK site from USA affiliates? - 06-15-2006

Dear Affiliates

I am a new merchant of 2 months and I was hoping everybody would be able to help me with a couple of things regarding my website. I hope I have put this in the correct forum if not, moderators please feel free to move it.

The website is called KJ Beckett which focuses on men’s designer accessories. The main idea of the company is to offer the customer something different then anybody else.

We have recently become a merchant in both the UK and US, but for all the success in the UK market the US market has moved much more slowly.

Is there anything we can change or add to the website to make it more appealing for the US affiliates and has anyone got any tips that we should know? It may just be the case that US affiliates just may not wish to use a UK merchant but we do offer payment in $USD and have a very good percentage of sales to the US.

The website is www.kjbeckett.com ; I would truly appreciate any feedback, good or bad.

Regards

Affiliate Manger

Alex

You're Site Is Not Bad - 06-17-2006

I looked at your website and it's simple and plain, but I honestly think it still has the potential to become successful. It doesn't matter that your business is in the UK because I'm affiliated with a business in Harrow, UK and I've been highly successful with both UK and USA customers. It's all about the way you market your website and how you set up your promotional campaigns. I have a suggestion if you're interested email me at chantelcarlton@yahoo.com.

Best of luck.

Thanks for the feedback about http://www.kjbeckett.com

Yes we have designed the site to be very easy to shop and simple - yet interesting because of all the unique and colourful products.

Our USA sales are pretty high (infact we find our USA customers spend much more per shop than UK ones) but affiliates dont seem to want to sign-up with us - despite us paying in US dollars.

I dont understand.

Kind regards

Alex

Your site is not too bad - 09-14-2006

I really think that it has a lot of potential. You've only had this site for a couple of months...your doing better than I am. I know it looks a little plain and simple but getting everything just like you want it takes a lot of time and patience.
Keep up the great work and let us know how things are going after while.
