I’m taking this site in a new direction.
As you can see, I’ve dumped the title “Affiliate Marketing Journal” and gone back to the domain name, “Blue Mushrooms.” It’s a meaningless name I picked one day after hours of desperate searches for an available domain name, but it’s
my meaningless name, and it’s a lot catchier than yet one more site with the words “affiliate” and “marketing” in the title.
That’s not the only change. I’m going to make this less of a journal and more of a resource site. When I was a newbie, it seemed cute to post about what I was learning and experimenting with, and to admit my mistakes. Now I humbly submit that I know enough to be contributing ideas and tips to the community, and that’s what I’m going to do.
I’ve changed the theme to a new stylish, clean, faster-loading look. I removed a lot of the ads and will be filling the sidebars with some useful stuff in the near future.
This seems like a good time to ask: what would
you like to see? How can I give you more of what you’re looking for with this site? Chime in on the comments thread.
