How about a contest to design a new logo and icons to match the RS theme of this forum? I'll bet everyone would help spread the word if there was something good at the end of that rainbow?!

I think it's a great idea to have a contest! Things around here are by no means dead or dying. We've been a tad distracted here at RS as we're restructuring corporately so that we can seek venture capital funding for our various entities. Gotta get all our ducks in order.

On a personal note, I got a visit from an IRS agent the other day. It's nothing major, but a distraction nonetheless. I dropped off everything to my acocuntants today and now it lies in their hands to straighten that out. We'll probably be running some contests on SitePoint in the next two weeks to give our post icons and our logo an even better look. Please be watching for those.

If anyone wants to step up to the plate and create some of those things, I'll gladly pay for anything we implement.

I have a great contest idea: Whoever generates $2500 in sales for FastFloors.com using the FastFloors datafeed will get the Linkshare fee to grab the datafeed paid by FastFloors.com

That could be a great contest. Get FastFloors to pay the LS fees for all entering the contest. In return, have a contestants actually build new sites dedicated to selling FastFloors products using the datafeed, and market the sites. Set a period of time, and let see who wins. What does the winner get?
