When Yahoo Mail switched it's interface from the old Web1.0
(if I can call it Web1.0) to the new AJAXified Web2.0 interface they had a nice and
*quick* walk-through about the new features like drag-and-drop and keyboard shortcuts etc.
Yahoo's demo was more like a Snag-It capture and re-play.
Anyway, I think this forum has many good features and having a short and quick intro or demo would enable people to realize what features are available and make full use of them.
The intro could be put-off to be viewed later, but there could be a reminder somewhere in the most visible spots to view the intro.
Some features that come to mind are:
1) AdSense Rev Share
2) Karma Button
The intro could also include a few other standard things like
1) How to ask smart questions
2) Proper message/ thread titles
3) Ethics
