I was looking for a way to create a CJ trackable link for any page on the merchant's site.

I'm able to do this easily on LS, SAS and Performics but there didn't seem to be an obvious way to do this in CJ.

Does anyone know if it's possible to create a custom link on CJ?

I checked out their help and they mentioned something like "Advance Options" under get a text link, but I couldn't find it.

They also mentioned that the advertiser could enable or disable the option.

Clearly some merchants don't have links to certain pages I want. I wish CJ and the merchants made it easier to create custom trackable links like this.

Hi Light,

You have to find a merchant that has a SID ("shopper ID") function on their "get the link" page. When you go to get the link that you will use on your website, it will open up in the box.

Not all advertisers offer this feature.

For example, Ebay has one under their ad ID #5463217.

You basically enter in the keyword that you want to track, and click "Update Link Code."

i will advice you to send email to CJ help for questions about links because you could end up promoting a product and at the end you wont get paid , i find CJ quite comfusing with the links , you need to create a specific link for most of the programs for example if you want to promote hair loss products on yahoo adwords the link will be different from the one you will need to use with google adwords .
