I don't want to sound like Im spamming the forum. But I would like to point out Affiliate DataFeed File Price Comparison Shopping Script Integration Tool - DataFeedFile.com . Currently I use them for my site Masternerd.com Shop, compare, get advice and save!.

Basically its a datafeed management tool that runs off a remote java, php, or ASP script. It does so in a comparison shopping engine format. I have to admit I love this service. It works with CJ, Linkhare, Netshops, Linkconnector, Amazon and more on the way.

They ask for 4th click like G0lden Can and they offer tons of different options. Currently they offer mod_rewrite for the dynamic urls & they recently updated the servers which brings more speed to the script.

I love the service and I would like to see it grow thats why im reaching out to fellow affiliates.

Welcome to the forum, John. I don't mind one-time introductory posts about who you are, the sites you run, your services, etc. Afterall, I do expect everyone here to be empowered to do business.

I only get miffed when I see overly repetitive posts, people posting as if they have no affiliation with a company (when they really do), duplicate (and fake) user registrations, etc.

I must assure you that I have no real ties with dff other then using their services. I feel strongly about the services and I do promote them as gratus for their services.

I like the forum here and look forward to networking with the group here. I do need to maximize conversions a bit and hope to learn as much as I can.

I wasn't working under the assumption that you were affiliated with them. I just wanted to make our "policing" policy clear.

It's also a good idea to post here about your successes (and failures). The community is very generous when it comes to sharing ideas and tips. Put forth a positive energy to RS and it will be repaid ten-fold.

I couldn't agree more with you with regards to the fake registrations. That's the most childish thing ... and actually a bit cowardly I think. Just say who you are and say what you think ... no one respects a person who hides behind a false face.

What are datafeeds?

To your question about "What are datafeeds?".

They are snippets or portions of products and inventory of what the affiliate company is selling which are sent to you in a "Feed" or "Rss". ASP, Java, and PHP are some of the coding languages that these feeds are sent by. Your affiliate links are in the datafeeds that are from the affiliated merchant/company. With the Price Comparision script you have options of:

1. displaying one merchants inventory as if it were your own
2. using the product display as a price comparision site
3. use the coupons from the merchants like a coupon site

It is a powerful tool when compared to GoldenCan's affiliate tools. But with DataFeedFile you can use the Price Comparison script. Only problem I have with it, is the uptime is low and sometimes slow. I have no real stats but it's probably up 90% of the time and slow about 20% of the time. I do use it, it is free to use.
