I've been reading up on the iTunes affiliate program and I've seen complaints here and there about the low pay rate.

.. This gave me an idea, and if anyone has any recommendations, I'd really appreciate it....

I am running a successful record label (an indie, but indie sales are skyrocketing now since iTunes came around...) and I have a lot of tracks on itunes for which I'm paid directly.... (about 168 tracks in 16 albums...)

So, I thought: Why not look for people who are already signed up with the iTunes affiliate program... **an offer them a nice back-end percentage --on top-- of what they can make directly from Apple/Linkshare**? .... I haven't figured out the exact % yet -- I want to gauge interest from affiliate marketers and set it from there....

I already have a list of 100 to 150 keywords to get the marketer started....

Note that 90% of iTunes sales are from within the USA & Canada, so it's only really worth one's while to focus on those territories. Maybe the UK a bit too ...
