First of all, welcome to Revenue Source!

I wanted to introduce myself to everyone here, and give you some insight into my experience and my roll here at Revenue Source.

I've been around the internet since before most people had even heard the word. The web didn't exist, there was no spam, and dinosaurs ruled the earth. I got my start on BBS's, and my first job was doing technical support for one of the first ISP's in Florida at the age of 15. Within a year, I took over full control of the technical operations for that company.

Since then, I've had my hands in everything from building nationwide networks to building servers that handle hundreds of thousands of users a day, and the applications that those visitors use.

Suffice it to say, I know my stuff. :)

It's my job to keep this site running smoothly, and if it breaks, blame me. I haven't lost a patient yet though.

Besides that, I'm more than willing to share my skills with our members. I've learned plenty of time saving (and money saving!) tricks over the years, and as an engineer, efficiency is definitely high on my priority list. Expect to see me chiming in to answer technical questions and give advice where it's needed.

Good question. Let me clarify:

I wrote what is probably the original automated SEO program, which generated and saved on the fly pages for a list of keywords given to it when the spiders did their crawling. With no intervention from me, the program produced upwards of 50,000 uniques per day from the engines.

I've also written newsletter systems and portions of affiliate programs.

But, that being said, I'm a person that makes things work. The other RS admins will be the ones giving the majority of the marketing advice, since they are the professional affiliate marketers, and I'm sure they'll provide some information about themselves here soon.

Implementation is my field of expertise.

Most of the people who are members of RevenueSource already know me but I realize some members don't.

I started my life as an affiliate/affiliate manager back in 1998 when by pure coincidence, I landed the job of marketing manager at a now-gone dot-com. When the Online Marketing Manager left, the owners of this dot-com just passed all those responsibilities to me. I didn't know much about the business side of the internet at the time. My background was on the non-profit sector, assisting with marketing knowledge to non-profits like Communities in Schools, America's Promise and the ATCC (American Type Culture Collection).

I started an affiliate program for the merchant and the affiliate program grew from 0 to over $15,000 in sales per month. This was a great experience for me because it taught me everything that I know today. After 2 years and running out of money, I had no choice but to take a job at another now gone dot-com.

We are now in 2004 and I can say that affiliate marketing changed my life: I make 100% of my income from promoting and managing affiliate programs and brokering advertising deals, selling domains, etc.

Anybody who knows me in person will tell you that I always try to help everybody that I can. If I give you my word on something, I will do it. RevenueSource is a good way for me to help people in masses and I only want you guys to buy me a drink one day.
