Re: news source - 11-29-2006

That URL you provided was a bit slow to load. There are quite a bit of news aggregators that will provide you code snippets you put in your page.

You want content for one of two reasons:
1) Something to make users "sticky"
2) content for search engines to index

Using cut-paste HTML snippets eliminates #2, as most are Javascript driven and probably won't be properly picked up by the SE Bots / Crawlers.

As far as #1, if the content you're adding makes your site more enjoyable to visitors and is something that you think would get them returning, then it's a good option. If it's a product that's going to just draw users away from the site while providing little "stickiness," you probably want to not use the news source.

Do you have a URL to your site? I'd be able to provide some content suggestions for you if I knew what your site was about and what it looked like.
