Lee Odden Reads A Lot Of SEM Blogs - 01-10-2007

His list of over 250 blogs either directly cover search engine marketing, or provide a look at companies that are essential to the SEM world.

Today has been a good day to find lists. Before getting into what Lee has going on his blog, I have to mention the fine list Jennifer Slegg has on display on Search Engine Land. Her 25 tips on optimizing a blog for both readers and the search engines summarizes some great tips, though I have to note that Search Engine Land doesn't follow tip number 24 yet.

Over at Lee's Top Rank Blog, the SEO and PR pro (and regular WebProNews contributor) lays out a cornucopia of sites for one's RSS reader.

The blogs cover a range of creators. Official blogs from Google, like Inside AdSense and Webmaster Central, appear with lesser known ones by people like Rajan Sodhi and Jamie Sirovich.

Some of blogging's A-list celebrities made Lee's list, which means links to places like the personal blogs for Danny Sullivan, Matt Cutts, and Jeremy Zawodny. Lee has included sources for blogs covering link strategies, affiliate marketing, and copywriting too.

Oh and there is a feed for this other blog that I know you want to drop right into your feedreader of choice. It's the only way you can consistently see our Chris Richardson on display.

We learn by reading, and learn more by doing. Lee's voluminous OPML file can provide plenty of material for the former so you can get to work on the latter. Use a service like Bloglines or Google Reader to make the reading list available wherever you have a browser, including on mobile platforms.
