I take it you manage Ebay stores? Or do you just run list/sell your own Ebay products?

RS is owned by a corporation, Smart Semantics Corp of Miami, FL. I am one of 3 owners, and by far the most prevalent on Revenue Source. The other partners are generally tending to our other web properties.

My day is spent programming useful scripts for RS and our other sites, managing our employees/programmers, registering and selling 10-20 new domain names per day, etc. We run dating sites, blogs (Wordpress & Blogger), search engines, web directories, do internet consulting, SEO... to name a few.

Entrepreneurs... jacks of all trades.

My personal strong points are SEO, Wordpress / Blogger, MYSQL, XML, RSS, PHP, ASP, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Apache, .htaccess, VBScript, Visual Basic, DNS, Linux, Javascript, DHTML, HTML. There's probably a few other things I missed... generally I'm good at pretty much anything related to a site and it's setup. I've taken many sites from planning to post-production. I also have a strong background in e-marketing.

I am missing the creative side of my brain (figuratively speaking). I'm not very good at design. If you said, "draw me an apple," I'd draw the best damn apple you've ever seen. But if you gave me a blank piece of paper and said "draw something," I'd sit there for hours wondering what to draw. I am responsible for most of the layout of Revenue Source if you want someone to gripe to (that is, if you hate it).

i would not worry about not being able to design, you know all the stuff which brings in the money!!

I need to sit down and read up about seo. Knowing about seo is so valuable.

I gave up before becoming a power seller.

I gave up ebay because I got a job which mean I had to work lots of hours and my gf got mad when I got home then went on eBay!!

I like your site, it looks clean and professional and the talking lady on the site is definitely a cute idea. I think it keeps anyone engaged and encourages them to browse through your site.

I'm about to enter the job world too after a short break of a few months. I guess things will be hectic for me again.

This time I'm going to give full attention to the employer and plan on spending the rest of the time learning stuff to build better websites.
