Macys 10% Off and extra 4% Commission - 11-12-2004

Macys announced their Holiday incentives for affiliates:

Starting Nov. 9 to Dec. 24, Macys will give affiliates a extra 4% commission on all sales from the Gift Department.

and from Nov. 9 to 14th, affiliates can use coupon code "Take10" for their customers to get a 10% off (excluding cosmetics, fragrances, gift cards, bridal registry and electronics)

I wished we could get a % for the those things... those are the things people will buy online but might not buy on the store. If only Macys thought of making the difference on the shipping cost. :-P

Macys regular commissions are:

4-5% commission on qualified sales (excluding electronic gift cards)

2% commission on clearance item sales

10-day Cookie for return visitors

But they are giving an extra 4% on qualified purchases. Sorry if my post wasn't more specific.
