The Joomla group (of the famed
Joomla! CMS system) have
released an announcement about their first ever
"Joomla!Day" un-conference happening this year in Mountain View, California.
Finally, Joomla! Day has arrived on the shores of the United States. During a two day period, May 12-13, Joomla! users from across the western US will come to Google in Mountain View, California, to share knowledge, meet other Joomla! users, and participate in the Joomlasphere.
This convergence will be held in the "un-conference" format, meaning that you, the community, determines what will be talked, who will speak, and what you'll take away from it. We encourage you to submit your ideas for sessions to our Joomla! Day USA West wiki which will be up soon.
Spots are going fast for this event, so
register while you can there's a limited number of spots (125 people!) for this time, but there will be other events happening across the US in the future (one in Austin, TX and another in New York).
