Company Open Source Staffing Location Washington, D.C. Title Senior LAMP Developer Summary My D.C. client is currently seeking someone to lead their team of application developers. You will work closely with their Account Team and clients to develop strategy and requirements for each project. In addition, you will be instrumental in helping to manage programming resources, oversee/approve the development of technical requirements, review code and create a roadmap for their CMS and other applications. This is a great opportunity to have a real impact on the vision and future growth of our company.
Currently, they are hiring a web application developer with the following skills:
- Deep experience developing web applications using Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP
- Experience with open source CMS applications
- Working knowledge of MVC frameworks
- Experience with other programming languages (such as ASP, .net and ColdFusion) is a plus, but not required
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills
- Strong communication skills to translate client requirements into technical specifications
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a self-starter attitude
- Ability to apply creative thinking to technology issuesCuriosity to learn about new web technologies and approaches
