I am seriously thinking of purchasing some SEO software. Does anyone have any input on "SEO Elite" or "Web CEO"?

I can't say much about SEO elite, but yes WEB CEO is an excellent software.You could completely analyze you website's statistics on the web as to how it fares and what it requires to improve it's prospects in terms of traffic and links.You could also compare your website with other related website in major search engines and see the difference in rankings.This enables you to get an idea as to what you are lagging in and what sort of work is to be put in to improve the prospects of the website.

I wouldn't purchase any SEO software as there are tons of free tools you could use for SEO analysis.

No actual tool can automate the whole process for SEO - they are just use for analysis purposes. Everything else are to be done manually for better results.
