| Always Be Careful With FFA Type Advertising -
10-12-2006
This is one of many FFA (Free for All) type advertising schemes out there on the world wide web
Having tested many of these schemes over many years I would recommend you steer clear of such schemes - YES they sound attractive - however FFA type ads and "confirmatory" emails are never read by anyone
The whole idea of FFA type sytems is to get people to post their ad, leaving behind their email address, and then they can be pestered to death by email ads. This is often referred to as "reverse marketing"
Reverse marketing can be effective but not when used by FFA type systems. People get so sick of emails flodding their inbox that they simply enter a free type email address they never use, and so all the emails simply end up in a "cyber black hole"
Instead, you will be far more successful if you learn how to use leads properly and build your own email list/ezine
There is no doubt genuine subscribers to your own email list is the best way to advertise any website, build traffic, and turn your subscribers into buyers.
In short the easiest way anyone can start earning real money from their own website is to have their own email list and send an automatic series of messages from an autoresponder
However this doesnt not involve buying "leads" or using SPAM of any kind. Instead people subscribe to your email list/ezine when they come to your website. All your emails must be fully CanSPAM compliant - which means in simple terms that you must state your full contact details - name, address, phone etc, and provide an easy one click method for people to unsubscribe.
You must also have a privacy statement on your website together with a warning that people will receive commercial emails
Over time, an email list put together like this will bring very significant rewards. All the big earns online use this kind of method - and it certainly works far more effectively than any other system |
