If people can’t put there anchor text, then it won’t help them rank high for there keyword. Its only going to help them get higher page rank. Example, A water website can have thousands of links, but if they don’t put there anchor text, then they are not going to rank high for the word water.
Why does Blog@V7N rank in the top 5 for
Britney Spears Naked? Because the page has strength. Not from hundreds of links pointing to that page. That specific page has almost no linkage. Two or three links, perhaps. And right out of the gate it ranked for the keywords used in the page title/post title.
Links build authority. They
do not have to include keywords in order to increase the visibility of the site in search engines.
